We believe the Bible is the inerrant Word of God. It is the sole and final authority for every aspect of our lives. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 We believe that God is the absolute and sole creator of the universe. The literal, 7-day creation was by divine, supernatural direction as recorded in scripture. Genesis 1-2:4 John 1:3 We believe in the three persons of the Godhead - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three personalities exist as one. Matthew 28:19-20 2 Corinthians 13:14 We believe that Jesus Christ in the flesh was both God and man, born of a virgin, living a sinless life. He taught and performed miracles exactly as revealed in the four Gospels. He was crucified, died as a surrogate sacrifice for our sins. He was physically raised on the third day after His death, and later ascended to the Father's right hand where He is the head of the church and intercedes for believers. We believe He will come back for His church personally, bodily, visibly, to establish His eternal kingdom.
We believe that the Holy Spirit is an individual force, and is God - possessing all divine attributes. He works through and resides in Christians at the moment of their salvation. John 16:8 Romans 8:11 We believe that God, by His sovereign choice sent Christ into the world to save sinners. John 3:16 We believe that salvation is open to all people, and that all are called to this end. 2 Peter 3:9 We believe that salvation is purchased by the shed blood of Jesus Christ. 1 John 2:2 We believe that we must respond through belief ( Hebrews 11:6), repentance ( Acts 17:30), confession ( Romans 10:10), baptism ( 1 Peter 3:21), and a continued life in Christ. Romans 11:22 We believe that through this comes the giving of a new nature ( 2 Corinthians 5:17), the forgiveness of sins and the gift of the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit ( Acts 2:38), and the hope of eternal life. 1 John 5:13 We believe our salvation is assured by His faithfulness. 1 Corinthians 1:9 We believe that every Christian is called to grow to spiritual maturity and use the abilities God has given them in His service. Romans 12:1-2
